Birthday yesterday!!! 19 now! Yay-ness! Was a well good night - went up to Edinburgh with a few of my good mates (Xander, Jen, Findlay, Grace, Max, Lanky, Steve & Keira) and saw "Memoirs Of A Geisha", which in my opinion is a stunningly beautiful film! Was slightly let down by the fact Max accidentally kicked some poor woman in the back of the head when he got out of his chair part-way through the film! Well...actually it was quite amusing...lol! Then it was off to stay with Findlay, Grace and Xander at Xander's aunts in Edinburgh. Up til 4am, Marks'n'Sparks' sushi for breakfast, then the bus back home at midday. Huzzah!

Hey hey peeps! How’s it going?

Got back from a 3 day trip to London with my college art class on Wednesday – major awesome’ness, though the same can’t be said about the 7 hours worth of travel time(5 and a half hour train journey from London King’s Cross to Edinburgh, then a bloody hour and a half on a bus back home!)

That said, it was an amazing trip! Staying in Piccadilly Circus was kinda bizarre I have to say, simply because it’s just as busy at midnight as it is at midday! All the shops are open, like, 24 hours! I’m telling ya – you haven’t lived til you’ve made a midnight run to Virgin for manga! And yeah, that means I got a loada new manga books – Volume 4 of “Hellsing”, as well as Volumes 1 & 2 of “Kill Me, Kiss Me”(a really quite strange manga, but really kewl too!)

Saw a couple of films too when I was down – Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride” on Monday night, as well as “Howl’s Moving Castle” on Tuesday. Both were film’s I *really* wanted to see and both were way better than I had even imagined! Pricing was a little steep though – around £8.50 a pop!

So that’s where most of my money went while I was down…Hey, who needs to eat anyway? Lol!

The kewlest news though I got when I(eventually)arrived home. My college bursary award letter had come through! At most, I had expected about £300, if any, just to cover the cost of materials. SO you can’t imagine my surprise when I find that my award is to be over £2,200!!

*However*

There is a slight snag…I’m not allowed to spend it. Forbidden actually. My parents are making me save it for uni. Oh well…at least it means I don’t have to get a job til the summer!

Hey peeps, I’m still here! Actually got some new submissions for once! *gasp* New artwork!! A scrap, a self portrait, ‘n’ also my entry for ’s lil contest. Hope you like!

Well, I have to say, it’s been an interesting few weeks – my college got flooded, so we all got an extra week for our October holiday (yay-ness!), but my classroom is on the ground floor, along with the vast majority of my work…so yeah, lil bit worried!

Um…what else has happened…

Ooo, I got a new gf, which I was well pleased about! She was really kewl and I really liked her. Then I got a text a week and a half(!) later (yesterday, in fact) sayin’ she “couldn’t be in a relationship”. I’m like, “WHA-?” I mean, I know what I can be like, but I’d only seen her seen her like, twice, during that time! (Cos she’d gone off to London for the October break, ‘n’ she lived about 30 miles away anyway.) Well gutted, I’m tellin’ ya!

Geez, I guess that makes…hmmm…three failed relationships in 6 months…wow, get me, eh? Guess I just keep picking the wrong ones…Oh well, my friends are being really supportive, plus I’m getting drunk tonight (woo!), so I’ll get through.
